Miss 'Looking'? 2 hour series finale to air in 2016

If you're sad that HBO's 'Looking' was not renewed for a new season, you have a little something to look forward to. The show will receive a 2 hour series finale in 2016.

HBO made the announcement at the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour in Beverly Hills.

"After two years of following Patrick [Groff] and his tight-knit group of friends as they explored San Francisco in search of love and lasting relationships, HBO will present the final chapter of their journey as a special," HBO explained in an earlier statement. "We look forward to sharing this adventure with the shows' loyal fans."

Created by Michael Lannan and executive-produced by Andrew Haigh and Sarah Condon, the half-hour series also starred Russell Tovey, Frankie J. Alvarez, Murray Bartlett, Raul Castillo, Scott Bakula, O.T. Fagbenle, Lauren Weedman and Ptolemy Slocum.

An air date has yet to be announced.
